Circular Economy Business Development Intern
Giulia Viero (MSc in Sustainable Development) is a highly-motivated and curious person who believes in the role of businesses to seize opportunities and upscale sustainable / circular solutions. Over the past years, she has participated in various undertakings, from the Venlo Circular Challenge working on the business case of Océ – A Canon Company to the Climate-KIC Programme on climate entrepreneurship, innovation and technology (becoming a network Alumna). Together with ECOR she supports the ScaleUp4Sustainability consortium, aimed at bridging higher education and enterprise realms by engaging into student-business projects.
At ECOR, she has found a dynamic environment that combines professional undertakings with her personal ambition to create a positive impact on communities. On this regard, Giulia supports a spectrum of projects, last but not least paddy straw valorisation in India and its impact on farmers / the value chain. She thrives in collaborative environments and her strengths lie in the holistic as well as inter-disciplinarity approach to investigate the present and find pathways for a sustainable future.
